This project assignment was to create a dinner setting inspired by the work of an assigned artist. I was assigned Peter Kogler and used his signature motifs to create a dinner set inside an illusion box. The placecard is represented in the ants on the outside, the placemat is the warped grid wallpaper, the brain the plate, pop art hands are the utensils, and neon green tube dispensing the ants is the drinking vessel. I create the wallpaper design using warping and mirroring techniques on ProCreate. The goal was to create art that showed the chaos that ensues from feasting on the universal disruption - the ant.
